Battered Egg Fry / Mootai Bajji



Ingredients

Boiled Eggs - 4
Rice flour/Arisi Mavoo - 1 cup
Chana Dhal Flour/Besan Flour/ Kadalai mavoo - 1 cup
Cumin Pwd/Jerraga thool - 1 ts
Fennel Pwd/ Sombu Thool - 1 ts
Kashmiri Red Chili Pwd - 2 ts
Coriander pwd - 1/2 ts
Salt for taste
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1/2 ts
Asfoetida - 2 pinch
Kesari Pwd - 2 pinch (optional)
Oil for deep frying

Method

1. In a mixing bowl add all the above ingredients except the Oil and eggs, mix it nicely and add water to it and make into a dosa batter.

2. In a medium heat place a wok and pour oil and once it is heated, Cut the eggs in halves and dip in the bajji batter and carefully place it in the oil. Flip on both the sides for every 30 secs and once it is crispy take it out keep in the paper towel.

Enjoy with ketchup and a cup of tea.
